Hand-made Kokeshi doll - Part 1

I took a little break from my book and made a series of little Kokeshi dolls for an upcoming art show at Leanna Lin's Wonderland. I used to make little wooden dolls for each convention, but since I've scaled down on the conventions in recent years, it has been a long time since I have made dolls. So, I am super excited about this new series.

The show's theme is "Tiny Glimmers" - using art to capture everyday little joys and happiness. I figured cute little dolls would be perfect for the theme and the holiday season. Below is a progress video with commentary. I hope you enjoy it!!
